Why Women Are So Special

Mum and Dad were watching TV when Mum said, 'I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed.'

She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches.. Rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button. She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer.

She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry. She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom.

She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the excursion and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair.

She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store. She put both near her bag.

Mum then washed her face with 3 in 1 cleanser, put on her Night Solution & age fighting moisturizer, brushed and flossed her teeth and filed her nails.

Dad called out, 'I thought you were going to bed.' 'I'm on my way,' she said. She put some water into the dog's dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked and the patio light was on.

She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and radios, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into the basket, and had a brief conversation with the one up still doing homework.

In her own room, she set the alarm; laid out clothing for the next day, straightened up the shoe rack.

She added three things to her 6 most important things to do list. She said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals.

About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular. 'I'm going to bed.' And he did...without another thought.

Anything extraordinary here?

Wonder why women live longer...? 'CAUSE THEY ARE MADE FOR THE LONG HAUL...... (and we can't die sooner, we still have things to do!!!!)

It is really wonderful to be a woman !
the time the Lord made women, he was into his Sixth day of working overtime.
An Angel appeared and said, "why are you spending so much time on this one?".

And the Lord answered and said, "
Have you seen the specsheet on her?
She has to be completely washable, but not plastic,
have 200 movable parts, all replaceable,
run on black coffee and leftovers,
havea lap that can hold three children at one time and
that disappears when she stands up,
have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart,
and have six pairs of hands."


The Angel was astounded at the requirements for this one.
"Six pairs of hands! No Way!", said the Angel.
The Lord replied,
"Oh, it's not the hands that are the problem.
It's the three pairs of eyes that women must have!".
"And that's just on the standard model?" the Angel asked.
The Lord nodded in agreement.
"Yep, one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing
even though she already knows.
Another pair in the back of her head are to see what she needs to know
even though no one thinks she can.
And the third pair are here in the front of her head.
They are for looking at an errant child and saying that she understands and
loves him or her without even saying a single word."

The Angel tried to stop the Lord.
"This is too much work for one day.
Wait until tomorrow to finish."

But I can't!", the Lord protested,
"I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart."
She already heals herself when she is sick AND
can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and
can get a nine year old to stand in the shower."

The Angel moved closer and touched the woman,
"but you have made her so soft Lord."
"She is soft", the Lord greed, "but I have also made her tough."
You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?", asked the Angel.
The Lord replied,
"not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason, and negotiate."

The Angel then noticed something and reached out and touched the woman's cheek.
"Oops, it looks like you have a leak with this model."
I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."
That's not a leak," the Lord objected,
"that's a tear!"
"What's the tear for?" the Angel asked.
The Lord said,
"the tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain,
her disappointment, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride."

The Angel was impressed.
"You are a genius, Lord.
You thought of everything, for women are truly amazing."


Women have strengths that amaze men.
They carry children, they carry hardships,
they carry burdens but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up for injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without new shoes so their children can have them.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They have sorrow at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.


The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!
Women do more thanjust give birth.
They bring joy and hope.
They give compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.

One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook food at the end of the day, even if she is tired as you are, may be more, and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother, a wife, even if she doesn't want to' and is learning just like you are as to what you want from her, and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;



One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;



One, who can be late from work once in a while,

When deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;



One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some and trust her;



One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house-your unstained support, your sensitivities and most importantly- your understanding, or love, if you may call it.



But not many guys understand this ...............

From GOD....to WOMEN.........

When I created the heavens and the earth,

I spoke them into being.

When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils.

But you, woman, I fashioned.

After I breathed the breath of life into man,

Because your nostrils are to delicate.

I allowed a deep sleep to come over him,

So I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep

So that he could not interfere with the creativity.

From one bone I fashioned you.I chose the bone that protects man’s life.

I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs.

And supports him, as you were meant to do.

Around this one bone I shaped you.

I modelled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.

Your characteristics are as the rib,

Strong yet delicate and fragile.

You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart.

His heart is the centre of his being; His lungs hold the breath of life.

The rib cage will allow itself to be broken.

Before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body.

You were not taken from his feet, to be under him,

Nor were you taken from his head, to be above him.

You were taken from his side,

To stand beside him and be held close to his side.

You are my perfect angel, my beautiful little girl.

You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence,

And my eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart.

So man, treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile.

In hurting her, you only damage your own heart,

The heart of your Father and the heart of her Father.

Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you.

In gentle quietness show your strength.

In love, show him that you are the rib,

That protects his inner self.
