Om Sai Ram!!!
Prayer is a silent communication with the GOD. Prayer should be done in secret paces not in public places. But, How to pray to the Lord? 1. Pray Sincerely - With pure heart. 2. Pray Secretly - Close your eyes (Thinking) from the outside world. 3. Pray Spiritually - Nobody between GOD and yourself. 4. Pray Sensibly - It is not bargaining with GOD. In Prayer, GOD is the subject! not yourself. Never use the word "me" or "my will". Prayer is a total dedication and surrender to the God. The test of a good prayer is that we rise better after each spell of it. God is all love and Compassion. No hypocrisy in Prayer. Prayer is a one to one relationship with GOD. Prayer has been the saving of Life - Mahatma Gandhi. Kneel on your knees on the ground,Head towards up and hands straight and upwards and close the eyes. Don't ask for earthy things. These will be given by GOD to you as he knows your needs well. Trust the God and Lord takes care of you. It is all about Faith. Real Prayer is an obsolute shield and protection against trinity of evils (Thought, Word and Dead), We have to cultivate illimitable patience. Jai Sai Ram!!!' www.spiritualthoughts.in

PRAYER
Prayer is the greatest power available to the individual and the benefits of prayer power are astonishing. To discover amazing power of prayer, the following are ten rules outlined by Norman Vincent Peale: 1. Set aside a few minutes every day. Do not say anything, Simply practice thinking about God. This will make your mind spiritually receptive. 2. Then pray orally, using simple, natural words. Tell God anything that is on your mind. Do not think you must use stereotyped pious phrases. Talk to God in your own language, He understands it. 3. Pray as you go about the business of the day, on the subway, or bus or at your desk. Utilize minute prayers by closing your eyes to shut out the world and concentrating briefly on God's presence. The more you do this every day the nearer you will feel God's presence. 4. Do not always ask when you pray, but instead affirm that God's blessings are being given, and spend most of your prayers giving thanks. 5. Pray with the belief that sincere prayers can reach out and surround your loved ones with God's love and protection. 6. Never use negative thoughts in prayer. Only positive thoughts get result. 7. Always express willingness to accept God's will. Ask for what you want, but be willing to take what God gives you. It may be better than what you ask for. 8. Practice the attitude of putting everything in God's hand. Ask for the ability to do your best and to leave the results confidently to God. 9. Pray for people you do not like or who have mistreated you. Resentment is blockade number one of spiritual power. 10. Make a list of people for whom to pray. The more you pray for the other people, especially those not connected with you, the more prayer results will come back to you. |

Om Sai Ram!!!
Five Finger Prayer This is so neat. I had never heard this before. This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives.. 1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a 'sweet duty.' 2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers. 3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance. 4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify.. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them. 5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, 'The least shall be the greatest among you.' Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively. Jai Sai Ram!!!

Om Sai Ram!!!
God understands our prayers even when we can't find the words to say them. May those who love us love us, and those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts, and if He cannot turn their hearts may He turn their ankles that we may know them by their limping. ~Irish Prayer Jai Sai Ram!!!

Om Sai Ram!!!
~~~PRAY THIS EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!! IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MINUTE~~~ You never know when BABA is going to bless you!! Good things happen when you least expect them to !!!!!!!! Dear BABA, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving BABA and an understanding BABA. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that BABA changes people and BABA changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than BABA. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it. Just repeat this phrase and see how BABA moves!! BABA I love you and I need you, come into my heart, please......... Jai Sai Ram!!!
SAI Ram!
Seeking help from a stranger is begging. Seeking help from a known person is request. Seeking help from God is "prayer". In begging, we became the object of pity. In request we became the object of mercy. But in prayer, we became the object of divine love. God love those who pray to Him. No one can pray to God unless one has faith and devotion for God. Faith and devotion are the result of of one's meritorious deeds in this or previous births. SAI RAM! |
